Milton Collins EL

Director
Milton Collins EL, is a licensed psychotherapist. He has worked with adults, children, adolescents and their families for over 20 year. He has a special interest in working with anxiety and depressed patients formed out of his extensive experiences working in related environments. Milton has work extensively with anxiety/depressed population and chemically dependent clients.
Milton received his undergraduate degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Long Island University in 1972. He received a Masters degree in urban Studies from LIU in 1976. He received a second Masters Degree in Social Work in 1988. For 14 years he worked in the school of "hard knocks" at Bronx Lebanon Child and Adolescent services where he specialized in working with children with serious conduct disorders. He worked with their families, intervened at their schools and ran latency and adolescent groups. From 1997 to 2001, Milton worked extensively with anxiety and depression patients at Florida Psychiatric Associates. In 2003, he established the Stress and Anxiety Center.
Mr. Collins EL is a certified clinical hypnotherapist, addiction specialist, and sexual offender specialist. He has also work with the addiction populations in New York and Florida.

Mental Health Counselor
Ms. Anide Charles received her masters degree from Walden University in Mental Health Counseling with a minor in trauma and crisis. She received a bachelors degree from Barry University.

Derrick Collins El/BA,MSW
Derrick Collins, like his father followed a path of helping others, obtaining his Masters in Social Work at the University of Central Florida. He also obtained his Bachelors in Education at Bethune Cookman University. He has worked with clients & families of all ages for the past 8 years, and currently has a specialized interest in Youth from ages 7-18. Derrick has work extensively with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, anger, self esteem, as well as substance abuse, and youth in foster care system.
Derrick Started his social service career at a Department of Juvenile justice residential facility for level 6 moderate risk offenders. He then gained valuable experience in the substance abuse population dealing with opiates. Once obtaining his masters, he maximized his independent contracting with local community agencies servicing At- Risk youth and families in foster care, and or DJJ. He now manages and owns the Volusia County Branch of Stress and Anxiety Center.
